The journey starts when you meet with the operator at the ranch between Hveragerdi & Selfoss. Next up you will get the safety instructions and suit up for the ride. This tour is well-suited for families with younger children. On this 1-hour tour, you will get familiar with the friendly Icelandic horse while enjoying Icelandic nature.

What's included?

Look at the weather forecast beforehand and dress accordingly. It's always a little bit colder when you are on the horseback so it's recommended to bring warm undergarments. 

What to bring? 

. This is about a 50-minute car ride from Reykjavik city center and about 15 minutes from Selfoss. Be ready at the ranch 45 minutes before tour departure time.

No, this tour accommodates all skill levels. The tour is split up into groups based on experience, this is done so everybody can enjoy the ride. Beginners riding for the first time will enjoy the tour as well. 



No, all the necessary equipment will be provided. The only thing you need is some warm clothes and sturdy shoes.
