ATV/Quad Bike Half-Day Tour from Reykjavik

This tour offers convenient pick-up and drop-off services from hotels and bus stops in Reykjavik. If you have your own vehicle, you can meet the group at their base camp, just a short 20-minute drive from downtown.

Before setting off, you'll be provided with all the necessary gear. The guide will then explain the safety procedures and demonstrate how to operate the ATV. If you prefer to ride alone, book a solo ride, but if you're with others and want to share an ATV, select 2 shared rides during the booking process. The ATV comfortably accommodates two people.

The ATV ride typically lasts for approximately 2 hours, giving you ample time to embrace the excitement and beauty of the surroundings.


Please be aware that this tour is not suitable for pregnant travelers or individuals with back problems. Additionally, the tour operates in all weather conditions, so it's important to dress appropriately for the outdoor elements.

Kindly be aware that a valid driving license is mandatory for taking part in this tour. If you forget to bring your driving license, you will need to sign a document affirming that you possess a valid license back in your home country.

What is included

- A valid driving license is mandatory for taking part in this tour. If you forget to bring your driving license, you will need to sign a document affirming that you possess a valid license back in your home country.

- Wear appropriate footwear and clothes, the operator will provide riding gear, including helmets and gloves.

What to bring

The pickup and drop-off process adds around 1 hour to the total duration of the tour. 

The pickup starts 30 minutes before the start time of the tour. 
We kindly ask you to be ready at your stop at that time. Be mindful that it sometimes takes a little time to pick everybody up. If you have chosen a hotel pickup you will have to be ready outside the hotel where the driver can see you.



In the pickup/drop-off list, you will find all available pick-up points. Most of them are located in and around Reykjavík city center. You will be dropped off at the same location. If your accommodation is not on the pickup list try to select the nearest hotel or the closest bus stop.

It takes approximately 20 minutes to drive to the meeting point from downtown Reykjavik. You can find the exact location

If you choose to meet them on location please arrive 15 minutes before the set time.

During the booking process, you will be able to select either a shared or solo ride option. 

The ATVs have two comfortable seats, so if you are booking for two people, you can choose to share an ATV by booking 2 shared rides. 

If you prefer to have your own ATV, you can book a solo ride. 

For those traveling with a child, you would book one shared ride and one child.
