The boat sets sail from the old harbour in Reykjavik. With just 15-20 minutes sail time to get out of the city lights, you'll be in the perfect location to view the aurora borealis out in the North Atlantic ocean with the beautiful mountains as your foreground. 



On board the ship you can get refreshments and relax in the warm cafeteria while you are waiting for the lights. There is also a WC onboard.

Dress according to weather, even though you have free overalls on board it's still a good idea to have warm clothes underneath.

The operator reserves the right to cancel the tour due to unfavorable weather conditions in these events you will be able to rebook a tour a different night, free of charge. If the conditions for northern lights are good but not at sea we will offer the chance to change to a bus tour. In this case you can also choose to receive a full refund.

What should I wear on a Northern Lights cruise?


Warm overalls are provided for all Northern Lights cruises, ensuring the comfort of guests. However, it is advisable to come prepared with additional warm layers, sturdy shoes, hats, and gloves. Even in Iceland, where the weather can be unpredictable, sunscreen and sunglasses are recommended for sunny days at sea.



What if we don't see the northern lights? 


If you do not see the northern lights you will get the oppurtunity to come again free of charge at the next available night. If you aren't able to come again you will get a free voucher to come again on your next Iceland trip.
