Setting sail from the old harbour in Reykjavik, only minutes away from the city center, you will embark on a 1 hour long journey to Puffin Island, which is home to around 30,000 birds. Iceland is one of the best places in the world to see puffins up close. It's the perfect tour to add to your itinerary.

Look at the weather forecast beforehand and dress accordingly. It can always feel a bit colder when you are out in the bay. 

What to bring? 

If you are staying close to the old harbour in Reykjavik you do not need pickup. The meeting time is 30 minutes before departure at the ticket office in the Old Harbour. The exact location can be found on your ticket in the top right corner.

Meeting point

Pick-up & Dropoff for this tour can be purchased for ISK 2.200 per person. The pickup starts 30 minutes before your tour departure. We kindly ask you to be ready at your stop at that time. Be mindful that it sometimes takes a little time to pick everybody up. If you have chosen a hotel pickup you will have to be ready outside the hotel where the driver can see you. If you are staying close to the old harbour we recommend walking to the location, only 5-10 minutes from the city center.

In the pickup list, you will find all available pick-up points. Most of them are located in and around Reykjavík city center. You will be dropped off at the same location. If your accommodation is not on the pickup list try to select the nearest hotel or the closest bus stop. The locations of the bus stops are available on this website. https://busstop.is/

There is no free parking in the harbour, but there are plenty of pay-to-park spots and a parking garage nearby. There is also a free parking area in the next harbour (5 min walking distance), and the staff is happy to direct you there if needed.

Important information

A cancellation fee of 100% will be charged if booking is cancelled 23 hours or less before the event. 

The operator reserves the right to cancel the event because of bad weather or other unforeseen events. In this case you will receive a full refund.
