You'll be picked up from your selected pickup location. From there you'll head towards the South Coast of Iceland. 



The first stop is the majestic Skogafoss. 65 meters tall and 25 meters wide, it's one of the iconic waterfalls of Iceland. 



Here you will go on the easy glacier hike, where you'll traverse an icy wonderland. Discover stunning ice formations, deep crevasses, and panoramic views on this unforgettable adventure. This part is 

The next stop is one of the most famous beaches in the world. Used in Hollywood movies such as Star Trek, Star Wars, Noah, and of course Game of Thrones. Surrounded by fascinating sights like glaciers, volcanoes, basalt columns and bird colonies this beach is an absolute must see in Iceland.



The last stop of the day will be at Seljalandsfoss waterfall, this is one of Iceland's classic landmarks. Here you can walk behind the cascading waters. From here it's about 1.5 hours back to Reykjavik.

What to bring


Pickup for this tour starts at 08:00 AM. We kindly ask you to be ready at your stop at that time. Be mindful that it sometimes takes a little time to pick everybody up. If you have chosen a hotel pickup you will have to be ready outside the hotel where the driver can see you.



In the pickup/drop-off list, you will find all available pick-up points. Most of them are located in and around Reykjavík city center. You will be dropped off at the same location. If your accommodation is not on the pickup list try to select the nearest hotel or the closest bus stop.

The tour cancellation policy is set by the tour operator.

All cancellations need to be made via email or confirmed with the operator directly, their information can be found on the top right side of your ticket.

Please note that in any special circumstances, the operator has the final say on refund matters. We will have to comply with their decision.



Cancellations by customers have to be made with more than 24 hours notice to get a refund, if not a 100% cancellation fee will be charged. If the tour is cancelled by the operator because of weather or other unforeseen events you will get a full refund.

Help

Weather in Iceland can be unpredictable, and even if it starts off beautiful in the morning during your Reykjavík pick-up, it may change suddenly. You might experience all four seasons in one day, so it's essential to be prepared and bring plenty of layers.



Dressing appropriately for this kind of weather can be a bit challenging. We suggest layering your clothing, with three upper layers being ideal. Start with a light wool t-shirt closest to your skin, followed by a fleece or heavy wool garment, and finish with a waterproof windbreaker.

For pants, lightweight hiking pants, track pants, or long cotton pants are recommended, with wind/waterproof pants on top. It's best to avoid jeans for hiking, as they become heavy, cold, and uncomfortable when wet.

Sturdy hiking boots are needed for this tour. You'll get crampons to put on your boots. 



Yes, you will get a chance to purchase food. We always recommend bringing snacks and water. 



Do I need insurance before going on this trip? 


Having travel insurance is highly advisable. We recommend obtaining personal health insurance coverage when engaging in adventure activities in Iceland, just as you would when traveling anywhere else in the world.



I'm pregnant, can I still join the tour? 


We recommend discussing this with your physician before the tour. All the stops except for the glacier hiking are 100% safe.
